The pipeline

How it works

Four stages, and you know exactly where the project stands at every one of them. Here's what happens, what you walk away with, and what I need from you to keep it moving.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A straight conversation about what you're trying to accomplish, who it's for, and what success looks like. No sales script, no jargon.

    What you get
A written scope, a fixed quote and a realistic timeline — before you pay anything.
    What I need from you
An honest picture of your goals, your budget range and any hard deadlines.
  2. 02

    Design & sign-off

Layouts and a visual direction built around your content, not a template. We iterate on the design until it's right.

    What you get
Page layouts to review and approve before a line of production code is written.
    What I need from you
Logos, photos, copy or brand notes — and candid feedback on what you don't like.
  3. 03

    Build in the open

Development happens in short increments against a live preview link. You watch the site come together instead of waiting on a reveal.

    What you get
A private preview URL, regular progress updates, and answers when you have questions.
    What I need from you
A quick look at the preview when I ping you so nothing drifts off course.
  4. 04

    Launch & handoff

Deploy to your domain, verify everything on real devices, and walk you through how to run it day to day.

    You take the keys

I hand over the code, accounts and documentation. You own everything and can manage it yourself or bring in another developer.

    • Full code repository
    • Domain & hosting ownership
    • Deployment docs
    • 30-day support window

    I keep it running

I stay on as your maintainer. Hosting, updates, backups and small tweaks are handled — you just reach out when you need changes.

    • Monthly care plan
    • Priority change requests
    • Security & plugin updates
    • Monitoring & backups

Billed monthly. Change requests outside the plan are quoted separately.

    What you get
A live site, ownership of the code and accounts, and a support window after launch.
    What I need from you
Domain and account access — or I'll set them up in your name so you own them.

How I work

What you can hold me to

Hiring a developer usually means trusting someone you can't watch work. These are the commitments that make that easier.

You own everything

The code, the domain, the hosting accounts, the content. Nothing is locked behind me, and you can hand the project to another developer at any time.

Fixed quotes, no surprise invoices

You get a number up front. If the scope grows mid-project, we talk about the cost before I build it — never after.

Plain English, always

I explain trade-offs in terms of what they cost you and what they get you. You should never have to nod along to something you don't understand.

One person, start to finish

You talk to the person writing the code. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a project manager and an offshore team.

Built to be maintained

Clean, documented code and a structure that still makes sense a year from now — whether I'm the one touching it or not.

I'll tell you if I'm not the fit

If what you need is a template site or something outside what I do well, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

The toolkit

What I build with

Well-supported, widely used tools — so your site is fast today and any developer can pick it up tomorrow.

Lovable

Design & build

This is where I design and build your website. It looks like a visual editor, but produces real production code underneath.

GitHub

Save & track every change

A secure vault for your project's code. Every change is saved and backed up, so nothing gets lost and we can always undo a mistake.

Vercel

Publish & host

The service that puts your site live on the internet. It also creates preview links so you can see changes before they go public.

Still have questions?

Tell me what you're building. You'll get a straight answer on scope, cost and timeline — even if the answer is that you don't need me.
